Junior Accountant
One year term position (June 2010 to August 2011)

Reporting directly to the Controller, the Junior Accountant’s main responsibility is to assist with the financial records of Kohltech International to ensure accuracy and compliance with established accounting standards and procedures.  The Junior Accountant will help plan, organize and administer accounting systems. The Junior Accountant will be responsible for the supervision of accounts receivable and accounts payable.

Qualifications:
•    University Business or Commerce Degree or Community College Accounting Diploma
•    Experience in a manufacturing facility considered an asset
•    Experience with financial statements, year-end procedures and auditing
•    Strong interpersonal and communication skills
•    Decision making ability
•    Attention to detail
•    Analytical and problem solving capabilities
•    Organizational skills
•    Ability to work independently and as part of a team
•    Strong supervisory skills

Production Workers

We are currently recruiting for Production Workers for our manufacturing facility located in Debert, N.S. We offer full-time employment with group insurance benefits, including medical, dental, life, LTD, critical illness, RRSP and an Employee Assistance Program. We provide training, opportunity for advancement, and a clean, safe, modern working environment.

We offer attractive shift times. Day shift is 6:00am to 2:30pm Monday to Friday (5 eight-hour shifts) and evening shift is 2:30pm to 1:00am Monday to Thursday (4 ten-hour shifts).  We recently increased our 2010 starting wage to $10.46 per hour for day shift and $11.01 per hour for evening shift. 

Our employees enjoy fun staff social events and work in a team environment with dedicated and hardworking co-workers who take pride in the quality of product we produce.

Our ideal candidate is comfortable working with hand tools, is able to read a tape measure and understands the importance of producing a quality product. They must also have an excellent work ethic and attitude and contribute to a positive, friendly and safe work environment.
